My dad swopped my brother his 1995 pajero 3.0 v6 for the bmw and gave me the bmw, I saw some headlights at autostyle, the indicator and headlight is a unit, smoked ones, I am only replacing them as they cant adjust anymore. thanks for the comebacks

Hey bud. Very good looking little e36 you have there. Just a little word of advice if you please. If and when you go for aftermarket headlights, especially those all in one jobbies, make sure it fits perfectly. I have seen a few and the shape is different, then you either sit with a gap on the top rounding, or you have to built it up with sponge rubber or something. That just does not work.

Mine took me a while to get where it is, and with pretty much 99 percent oem parts, I think she looks quite sexy. (Now only if she could be reliable as well).

I dont think that the engine would survive a turbo, the lifters are already noisy, and thanks for the advise Jandre, the only problem is that autostyle is 250km's away from me so i have to courier the parts to me and E46 guy, give me an M3 than you can have this one LOL

If only I could get the bmw to perform like the merc and still be economical

Very nice looking E36! Yep, E46 type wheels will look awesome on her - I agree with Jandre too, not all of the after-market parts are a perfect fit, so do your homework where possible. But enjoy and look after her! :)

If I remember correctly gizmos e36 started out a 316i but there is not much of the original engine left :) he is doing a turbo conversion now ... But its probably a much better idea to save the money you would spend on that to buy another bmw

Howdy...

Do not mod this perfect example of a clean E36...

The only way your going to get serious power out of it, is if you do an engine upgrade, and that comes with a whole other can of worms.

Why dont you do this, keep the car stock, use it as a decent daily driver, do not touch it.

In the mean time, save up a little bit of cash, and buy some phycotic V8 BMW (may I suggest a E34 540 :pimp:) and drop a massive supercharger or anything you want to do it.

Crux is, its a 316, to make it perform like an M3 is going to cost you far too much cash,

But congrats dude, she is a wonderful little car, and a classic in the making.
