Just bought a 2 door e30

Hi everyone decide to join the bmw club bought a crome bumper 320 coupe e30 as a project car I'm from Cape Town and I hope to make a lot of friends on here as I dont know to much about bmw's being a vw guy all these years, I've never worked on a bmw.

My car needs a lot of work cosmetically and mechanically I want to do some work as well but not sure what to do to the m20b20 base I have I'm truly conflicted not sure if i should swap it out or just start with it and increase the displacement and slap a turbo on so if you guys have any pointers hit me up

Welcome to the forum, with these cars going up in value, I would recommend to restore it to factory to increase its value. However, if youre keeping it as a toy/permanent project, then more power will definitely be fun
