Hi Guys,

So I'm planning on flying down to cape town to fetch Jandre's 540i and was wondering if anyone wanted to score a free ride up to jhb? You know some company for the long ride :thumbs: Or the off chance someone needs to drive down and needs a lift to come back up again :idea: then I'll have loads of space available. Looking at doing it before the 21st of Dec...

A road trip like this is epic, a friend and my self did this in June. We left Centurion at 23:00 the Friday night with a brand new Defender had 100km on when we left. Drove down to Plett got there at about 14:30 dropped off the car picked up a Mini Convertible. Left the Sunday at 9:00 got home at 00:00.

We stopped every two hours to swop driving duties and also stopped here and there to take in the sights.

With lots of shits and giggles would love to do it again.

Now this is how things stand for me at the moment. Next friday the 16th I'm driving down with a family friend and will probably stay a night or two and then drive back up. Most likely with some goodies for Uber Soldat unless my dad and his GF decides to tag along.

Funny thing is I hardly ever see a 4 door m3 on the road, I think I saw maybe 4 in total, I think the 335i is now king of the sedans
