Gents, a few weeks ago a forum member from M3cutters decide to sell his car and all the bits from it.
He had an electronic performance steering wheel up for sale at £600.
He was willing to go down to £550 on the forum.

I dropped the idea as I thought that it was a bit too rich for me.

I then noticed this appear on eBay about a week ago.i contacted him and he was willing to end the sale early for £350.
I watched the item through the week and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase.
I bid and won the auction at £245.

Collecting tomorrow if all goes well.
Got some refurb plans based in its overall condition .

Did so e research before collecting wheel today and discovered that the harness required to make this wheel function 100% is on international back order which means I've got a better chance of flying to the moon.
So this piece of kit would have been as useful to me as a chocolate fireguard .

Just spoke to a proper petrol head BMW Bodyshop manager.... He made few hone cAlls to enquire about a workaround to get the steering installed and his guy says that it's not possible .

So there's a lesson to be learnt here

It's a 2 hr installation. So the old owner just gets the steering removed just before selling the car and doesn't bother with te slip ring, control unit or the harness
