Is this a good deal?

Hi guys, my first bmw was an e30 318i BAUR Convertible which i bought last year and sold like 6 months later. i am now looking at a 2012 320i E90, brown/gold in color. 88 000km on clock and Mplan expiring 1 jan 2017. not sure what pack it is, it has leather, fogs, 6 speed manual, and that about it i think . not a sportspack, no sunroof etc.

i have got the guy down to R120 000. im busy getting finance, do you guys think its a good deal? the seller is leaving the country and basicly selling price is his settlement amount. how is the vehicle out of plan? is it a car i can keep for a while? will be used for weekends and private travel only. i have a company car for work.

E90 s are very solid and reliable cars,yes you will encounter certain problems with the car as every car has its own issues,but with the E90 320i ,the things that might go wrong :valvetronic ,petrol pump,diff,oil leaks,other than that no issues,my e90 323i is sitting on 254000km with only 1 issue,electric water pump which is a common problem

It looks like the deal you have got going is a good one...

- The average E90 2008 - 2010 with 80 000k's plus is selling for the 120k mark.
- The year and mileage looks good for the vehicle.

I have an inspection checklist I put together when viewing a car, you are welcome to contact me for the list. The list is specifically for BMW's and common problems to check for.

Always have a dealership do a full inspection before confirming an offer to purchase so that you know what you are in for if there is anything wrong with the vehicle. It may cost a bit but then both you and the seller feel comfortable with the sale.

I bought a 2011 msport a few months ago, paid 170k for it with 105000 on the clock. Its a good car, but the lack of power really does get to me.

Very good deal, I traded in my 2012 320i E90 last year October for R155k it had lower mileage 56k kms and more extras sunroof etc. but at 120k for the year model and still on plan I say its a awesome deal, just check for comments at a BMW dealer

hi guys..thanks for all the responses..i took all of ur advice and im happy to say im a proud owner of bmw 320i.
it was financed so i got it with a full Bosch inspection and also a full motorplan check for transfering on my name. called a friend who wrks at bmw and said the car was clean.

color is titanium bronze.
