Is there anybody who can view a car for me in Umhlanga?

Hi Guys,

I am not a fan of going this, but I am sort of at my wits end. There is an E46 M3 in Umhlanga that I am considering, and I simply do not have enough information to make a decision on whether or not I should fly up from Cape Town.

I have very high standards, and I really just need someone with an eye for detail to go and look at the car, and take a good set of photos. I have even written down a nice list as a guide. I am hoping after that I will have enough information as to whether it has enough potential for me to fly up and check the car out in person.

If anyone can help, please PM me.

Thanks
Adrian

I know the situation you're in and I should've done something similar but hindsight is 20/20...

I am not well schooled mechanically when it comes to e46 m3's, having never been in one. I am pedantic about cars though so I always tend to look a little harder than the average Joe... That being said, I work in Umhlanga and should no one else with more knowledge of these cars come through, I will take a look for you.

Thanks - the owner has been forthcoming with information, and I have had a conversation with one person who has seen the car - I really just need everything photographed properly because when someone describes something to you - its inherently subjective, and I just want somethign objective.

It's really driving me crazy that i simply can't get a good set of pictures to give me an indication of the cars condition. Following that I am happy to fly up to view the car..

I know exactly how you feel, it's something I should've done but didn't. This is the best way of going about it because you don't waste money and there's no pressure to take the car.

If it's just the condition you're after, PM me details and I will take a look for you. Will arrange to go on my lunch break.
