Is my bmw pre wired for auto cruse?

So, because another BMW had cruise control on it, you're wondering if your current car has been pre-wired for cruise control, but without actually installing cruise control? Can you see why your question may come across as a bit confusing?

No. Cars don't get 'pre-wired' for cruise control. They have the whole system, or they don't. The whole cruise control system is a module you can fit and remove from the car, but it isn't easy. If you want to shunt a cruise control system into your car you need the stalk to control it, the wiring for the stalk, the actual cruise control actuator that sits in your engine bay, a different throttle body, the cable for the actuator, and an auto-electrician.
