Watched it as well and it's definitely the exception to the rule that by part three the franchise goes belly up. A great great action filled movie that had me riveted .

havent seen it yet, but I too am not a fan of 3D. Spoils the experience for me

Gotta say I was a bit disappointed.
What's up with making the guy seem like a total wuss all of a sudden. Having anxiety attacks. And his prototype suit being all fragile like a piece of glass.
The black dude was more Iron Man than Iron man. Even Pepper in the end kicked ass. And then he goes and removes his arc reactor. WTF.
I enjoyed some of the humor. But I felt its was abit too much humor and less action/arrogant/genius billionaire that we got to know and love from Iron Man 1&2 and Avengers.
The trailer for THOR looks good!!!

Didnt enjoy it at all - was like Tony Stark stand up comedy minus the Iron Man.
Its based on the one Iron Man Comic (Extremist) that deviated from the actual Iron Man story and was actually a kak read. They got AIM almost completely wrong and what they did to the Mandrin was sinful cause he is epic!
Guess he and Pepper will be safely remote controlling lots of Iron Mans in the next Avengers - dont want him to get an anxiety attack or anything..:flyfun:

For a while there I thought I was the only one disappointed with the movie, then everyone else chimed in as well.
The biggest downfall of the movie was the Mandarin - I don't know, maybe my preconceived notions about the character was what left me disappointed. I was sooooo looking forward to an epic showdown between him and Stark - instead, I got Trevor, the dim-witted British actor.
Screw you Shane Black - you robbed the IronMan movie franchise of its signature villain / arch nemesis.
