Hey everyone.

What do you think of the iPad3?? The best spec display to date, but is it worth the price tag?

Apps will be huge to accomodate the large resolution, will need 32GB at least. 64 GB ideally but almost 11k? You can get a name brand 46" 3d LED for that price :nonono:

Would normally agree, but if you look at the price of competing 10" tablets in this country, the Apple products are quite well priced in comparison.

Also, the iPad 3 is not officially out yet, so all the pricing right now is inflated grey stock. Will reserve my comments for when it lands, as Core actually priced the iPad 2 quite sensibly, for once.

appsize and resolution not related. unless obviously if you are using images and not drawing, but then you are kak at making apps

Sure the galaxy is R50 more... But its worth its price tag... :rollsmile:

Interesting. I just use the works laptop. There are no finger marks on the display and its free :=):

:biglol: Yes I also have that perk, but as an IT Admin I always check what is new and happening..

I Must say that the Android devices are much easier to work with on a windows network that apple.

Probably getting the S2 and 10.1 on Monday. Android 4 looks sweet! And it is much more open source than apple.

:thumbdo: I think the prices are just out of reality, thats the price of a good small laptop that can do so much more.
I have 10" android and is good for what we got it for, reading books and a bit of surfing, with a few extara APPS.

We fuel those crazy prices by buying them.

Saw a dude in the shop trying to carry hiz basket and at the same time use hiz iPad to tweet and FaceTube, like watching a person with 2 left hands hehe.

Tab's are nice to have to mess about but i think they are over rated.

I get huge value from my tablet. Rarely touch a PC at home, great productivity tool at work.

They aren't for everyone though.

Depends on what line of work your are in .

My mates iPad is hiz life line as he is big wig at Primemedia, always moving around all week.

To each there own i suppose.
