Doesn't it seem like are playing catchup with Samsung and Android? Which of those features is really groundbreaking honestly? I can't wait for my upgrade so I can move to Samsung S4. Tired of being left behind lol.

Well if you have been using iPhone for more than 4 years then this is a brilliant upgrade. I would not say this is groundbreaking, but then again what does Samsung do that is groundbreaking. It's just more features and fluency to the current iOS

:bravo: it is more catch-up than anything else, but it is left to be seen how it all ties together and how that might make it better and more fluid than Android

Things like Air Gesture, Smart Scroll, Smart Stay, etc. And they can make a battery that actually lasts lol. And on the support/backup side their warranty on the screen/display. Pretty impressive by my standards. But lets not turn this into yet another iOS vs Android or iPhone vs Samsung debate. To each their own.

True. Each to his own. As Samsung is also a good phone I won't argue. As long as some-one does not pop in here and try to convince me that Blackberry is better

Honestly, most of the Samsung "features" are gimmicks, after the novelty wears off, ask yourself how often you actually use them.

But anyway. Apples approach works for me, Samsung to me is like a Nissan GTR, plenty of power, loads of features customisable options, it ticks every box on the spec sheet but it doesnt move you.

Apple is the Ferrari, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, having a million features doesnt matter, but those features that bring or enhance the overall user experience are what matters, everything in their ecosystem is carefully thought out and refined. Look at the build and design quality of their devices, the look and feel of their stores.

I hate to say it, but with Android and Samsung its more about having every single feature, regardless of our they are implemented

Apple was never about having the most, but rather making the best.

Thats my 50c, take it or dont. The "choice" is up to you.

The world is after-all full of choice, and things come down to preference in the end,

+1

Well said, I've owned a S3, and now have an iPhone 5, and honestly, all those features in the promo ads on the S3 were never used by me.
