Of all the cars I've owned, the RX 8 is the one I miss the most. It is a very hands on car. Some things you need to know;

- Always keep a 5 litre oil in the boot. Requires a top up every second tank of fuel

- Before turning the ignition off, you have to rev up to about 5000RPM then turn off before the revs drops. This is to keep the apex of the rotary from cracking.

- about 300kms to a full 60 litre tank. That's normal driving. Filling with BP will give you an additional 30kms. I once got about 120 kms on a full tank.

Its an awesome car to have though, really good handling. If you want to tail to come out a little it will allow you that, but you can easily bring it back again. If you are looking for one you have to make sure it has its original engine with not more than 30 000kms. FSH is a must.
