Hey guys, Im new to the forum so hello everyone.

Just a question on getting the interior dye'd to look like new again. I got a quote on this for R2000. That includes all seats and handles.

Does anyone know if this price is ok as i have no idea how to expect to pay for this?

Hello Sean

I see you are Boksburg, so I wont be able to help.

But what I can say is that for that price and for the effort involved that is a great price.

Price seems reasonable. However, ask them to see some other cars that they've done to see the quality of work.

Also, check if they're dying the leather or spraying it. Sometimes spray work rubs off after a few months and you end up with the same problem.

Some places remove all the seats, take them apart as much as possible and do a proper job. Some places just leave them in the car and do a best effort on the corners, etc. Ask the guys how they intend doing your car.

Lastly, how about doing an intro with some pics of your ride

Speak to a leather specialist. AFAIK, you can easily go from a lighter to a darker colour, but not vice versa. Also, the leather needs to be dyed properly in the case of a colour change.
