Some of the interesting facts when you restore a M car. My door cards were made on the 19/09/1991 by Emelda.

Awesome job so, 25 years later they are cleaned and being re-fitted to the car.

This a restoration, i.e. a work in progress. I therefore expect more facts to emerge as the project continues. On that basis, this thread has the correct topic.

I will be very disappointed if the thread stops here. :cry:

The M5 had a unique alternator cooling duct built into the front bumper. The intake was on the left channeling cool air to the alternator
