6 Speed 540's FTW

There may be reason why this one has not found a new owner as yet.

Interesting car. worth a look & drive I recon. You have a number of extras here, ie. the Angel eye headlights, thats around 7k right there if you buy from Hella, (12k + from stealer) and I see updated kidney-grill as well. Then the M5 rims, and definately the OEM discs and pads. (i remember the quote for that when I enquired at the stealer to be well around the 10k mark) So check reciepts. As well as FSH with dealer, and check M-Plan history with them. Car seems clean. Would be concerned with what software uipgrade has been done. What type and what the fuel economy is now. Also check work done on exhaust. Otherwise, if in good order, a flipin brilliant all-rounder.

What about the software should one be concerned about:dunno:

Car looks decent, obviously owner just wanted some extra power and the software would be needed to make the hardware added work optimally so wouldn't be too worried about that, just ask who it was done by and try get some info.

Main thing that would concern me personally about a software upgrade is whether or not this was done by a reputable tuning company, and how it has affected the cars overall drivability, relaibility and fuel economy. I would insist that the upgrade details be documented and on record to pass on. There are right ways and wrong ways to go about these updates, from what I have read. The original output for these engines are 210kw. A 60kw up in power is quite a margin, although I'm sure there's ample headroom in these engines. I would just insist one getting the details.
