Hi Members

Thank you for the excellent Forum!

I bought a used 2005 325i (E90) last week from a friend and have been reading some of the info.

I have fallen in love with the old girl who has been well looked after. I will have to deal with a leak on the washer reservoir/pump but other than than so far she seems to go very well.

I have the beige interior with wood trim so may look at a vinyl wrap for the wood trim just to modernize the interior a bit but not sure what that type of things should cost and who i should contact in Durban.

Loving the car and the forum thanks.

Congrats on the new old girl bud!

I hope you do her good and she serves you well! Haha.

Post pics when you get a chance man!

Welcome

Consider doing a DIY on the trim... at least to experiment. I tried wrapping the interior to see what it would look like. So far it has not bubbled up or faded or peeled in any way... so I've left it on. I didn't use a premium wrap or do anything fancy except degreasing the surface and using a heat gun (you could use a hair dryer). Not sure how difficult it is on an E90.

Great job there! it looks really good! I don't trust myself for anything requiring patience and finesse I am afraid.
