I need some good BMW advice please

Hey guys,

I recently bought my first car the 2012 BMW 320D F30 and need some advice. The car has 96 000 km and was serviced on 89 000 km. The car is now indicating that it needs a oil service. I've figured out although I still have 7000km to go, the car was standing a while and was serviced last year March 2015.

Can someone tell me of a place where I can go and service the car. I live in Johannesburg, so hopefully a place nearby please. I'm looking for BMW experts that are not to expensive and RMI approved, so that I don't void my warranty.

Furthermore I'm also looking for a good place to buy rear tyres. 255/46/R17 run flats, Bridgestones preferably since I want to keep it the same as the front.

Please assist. It would be much appreciated.

For tyres, try Errols Tyres. Decent pricing, unfortunately they are in PTA.

From what I gather the car still has an active plan? Warranty would only be 2 years in any case so that would have expired in 2014 already.

If the car has active plan take it to BMW. If it doesn't get a price from BMW too... Oil swop should be around 1.5k on special I think.. Also try them for tyres their prices are not that bad.. :coolShake:

Thanks for the advice guys!

I took out a warranty on the car when I bought it cOIDFuSiOn. It's for the next 2 years and unlimited miles at least. R1500 doesn't sounds so bad. I'm will try and take it to BMW then. I thought a service there would be like R3000...

Being a 2012 Motorplan would expire in 2017 or at 100,000km unless i missed something?

Should just be booked into your nearest BMW dealership and you can leave your wallet at home..
