With the festive season basically here, and crime picking up, the criminals are also out X-Mas shopping. Let my story serve as a warning to all.... I was lucky, cause I have a gun and was trained and not afraid to use it...!!!
So, what just happened....
I knock off at 18:00, and tend to drive a different route as often as possible. So today, its Nelson Mandela Drive in Pretoria.
I get to the corner of Nelson Mandela and Edmond street, 3 lanes, and I am far right hand lane, and the light is red, with 3 cars infront of me, and several others to the left, as well as a few behind me.
My window is open, cause I ALWAYS drive with it open, except in the rain...obviously...
...anyway, I stop, listening to Jacaranda FM, and the next moment these two F**KERS are on my!!
As the one reaches into the car towards the ignition, he tunes me: "You don't want this car!!" , and at the same moment the other one shows me a knife... :uhoh:
I tell them: "Ok sure!" and as I reach for the seatbelt, me being left handed, I go for CuZi, my 9mm, and pull it out, and cock it, and point it in the guy with the knifes face, and yell out: "What now you F**KERS?!?!?"
At this stage both of them stumble backwards, and I scream again: "WHat now??? Come on you F**KERS!! Come and take my car!!!"
They start to run, cutting behind my car, and across the street, obviously into oncoming traffic so that I cant follow them, so as soon as the light goes green I floor it, drive around the block in like 30 seconds... dont ask... :facepalm:
I turn the corner and there they are, walking slowly as if nothing happened. I open my pasanger window and as soon as the one that had the knife sees its me, he yells out: :I'm sorry boss!!". I take my gun, point it right at him, and scream: "NEVER bring a knife to gun fight you F**KER!!!!!!"
They both ran into the oncoming traffic again, and vanished into some buildings where I wasn't willing to follow them on foot... so I calmly put CuZi on safety. holstered her, and drove home with a BIG smile on my face! :rollsmile:
I also reported it to both SAPS and my office, with a detailed description of both, but yea, by this time they are Loooong gone... :nonono:
So guys, PLEASE drive safe out there!! And rather keep your windows closed, or only open it a small bit, and finally... BE AWARE OF YOUR SUROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES!!! :shocked:
