Following up from my last thread here:

Dress:
I suggest old clothes/dark clothes
(there will be muddy paw prints)

Braai:
Bring your meat and your drinks and have a family-friendly day out on site.
You may bring a portable braai with if you don't want to use the on=site braai available.
We can chuck the hot ashes into their braai to leave to cool down when done
to ease the packing up process.
Remember to bring wood/briquettes and firelighters.
Or bring a packed lunch/picnic if you prefer.
The area is well shaded with trees and there will be multiple gazebos available.
The site will provide seating spots in the form of hay bales covered in new blankets that will go
to the huskies when we're done for the day.
Alternatively feel free to bring camping chairs of your own.
There will be a water slide for the kiddies - bring them with.

Huskies:
We will be giving the huskies loads of attention. They are in fairly large cages/keeps
and we will be allowed in to play with them at will.
There are small pools for the huskies to swim in and thus mud will be encountered, hence
the suggestion of old/dark clothing.
Children to give huskies attention under strict adult supervision only please.
They are not vicious by any means but no chances should be taken.

Charity/Donations:
Food (preferably Montego or Lionels Choice - huskies have sensitive tummies).
Also, Boss tin foods are used, mixed with the pellets.
Blankets - "Stormy" brand only please. These are strong so the huskies can't rip them apart
and ingest any of the fibres - prevents vet bills.
Toys - rugged toys such as ropes. Please, no raw hide chews. Also, no toys that can be
ripped or have smaller items come loose off of them (eg, teddy with plastic eyes).
Steel poles/fencing - for upgrading or constructing new cages. The wooden ones are rotting.

Merchandise on sale:
There will be limited Fanatics/HHR branded clothing available to purchase.
A list to gain numbers of potential orders will be set-up.
There will also be standard HHR branded clothing to purchase on site - all proceeds go towards rescues.
There are caps/shirts/hoodies but this will be confirmed. Quality is brilliant and
there are items for all sizes, including children.
There's a card facility on site for purchases.

Any and all cash donations welcome.
Please use reference "BMWFANATICS" when donating for this charity drive so that we
may have an indication of how much we raised. This helps with future charity drives and
to determine the success of this charity drive.

Donations will help towards the very high vet bills and rental costs for the property.
On a side note, HHR are looking to purchase a property to get away from said high rental costs.

We are looking for a place to call our own, for the fur kids of Husky Heaven Rescue. We need to secure our own place. The property we are currently on and hoped to buy is no longer available as owners do not want to sell/sub divide. Anyone that has contacts or knows of a suitable plot please let me know. Brenda 076 643 1482. Looking in areas from Sterkfontein to Midrand surrounding or Centurion way; 1 to 5 ha about, that is fenced and in a safe, secure area please. Borehole/water and electricity connection.

This is not the same place. This event has been in planning for the last week or so.

The support for Coisman is being handled by his daughter as a school project and that's for a place in Pretoria North.

We have shared the information on Facebook so far. More support can be directed to Coisman. I will support in any way I can. For now it's not a planned event. I'm not sure they are capable of being hosts what with the fire and all so donations would help them more than anything.

I don't think there's an issue, we would like to support both. I propose maybe we can setup a thread with details etc, where donations towards the shelter that experienced the fire, can be directed as well.
