Just want to give a huge shout out and thanks to Sash who helped me out on Friday by registering a new battery and clearing all the fault codes that were associated with the old battery going beyond dead and causing numerous false codes - 48 of them in total! After clearing and running the car for a short period all the codes had gone - thank heavens.

Thanks Sash, much appreciated and great to eventually meet instead of passing each other in the traffic occasionally.

Not a problem Andy, only a pleasure. Same here, we have been chatting about E60 for a while, much better to put a face to a name...albeit a face with a mask...lol

We should check for codes again at a later date to check if any soft errors have come back just out of curiosity
