Well, I have been through alot of vehicle brands, grew up on a Ford, lots of Toyotas, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Audi, Honda, Opel, Fiat, Isuzu, VW and finally traded my Lumina in for a 2012 BMW X5 E70. Already kakked out BMW SA regarding a retrofit USB (outcome still pending) but love the vehicle, the mix of sportiness and SUV is great. Glad to be a member on this forum

Welcome. I have always admired the Lumina from a distance. Please tell us what it was like to own and drive.

My take is that the interior is a bit basic, it drinks fuel and eats tires but is fairly robust otherwise. Apparently the GM engineers copied the E39 suspension closely, with the result that the Lumina has the same issues with bushes wearing out. But that is just what the interwebs tell me. It would be good to hear from somebody who actually owned one.

Welcome buddy, I am sure you are missing the power of the Lumina though.

I am and will most likely get another one in the future, for now it was mind over heart

Great to drive, she shakes her butt as soon as she can but its easy to get it back in line, just too many fools out there that think they can work on the vehicle but cannot. Porky at American Motorsport in Honeydew is the best by far. I probably would buy one again in the near future
