How to check engine temp

Can one check the engine temp on a 2008 Pre LCI 330d auto when the car is on the move on the OBC and how do you do it? Thanks!

on my e60 the same process applies to when the car is moving or stationary.... if you know the stationary process try it .

If i recall correctly, this menu only show coolant temp and there is no existing way to check engine temp

Get an app and a OBD II connector, then you can check everything.
