They are selling for R3600 with tires, but I dont know how the black would look

NOOO! What are the state of the tyres? I'd take the tyres if I have to, but those rims look like they will start peeling any moment.

IMO any OEM rim set(painted or not) should go for no more than R3k.

They are called Maxtrek, available from Supa Quick. It's an American tire apparantly. Quite decent, I am happy, however I have not yet tried their roadholding on the limit. I paid 820.00 each.

Roadnoise etc is very decent.

By the way, quick hi-jack. After the electric fan conversion, and the new exhaust, how is the performance on your car andrew?

It looks like 3 spokes and the rim are already chipping, but it would probably look good! Maybe have it done properly on a clean set of wheels.

Seriously though, fells a bit improved, better overall drivability, in 3rd i can mow stay in when before i had to go into 2nd.
Dont think the exhaust makes any difference seeing as i still have half my system normal diameter pipe

I would maybe offer them R3000, the rims would just need to be in good shape as I would prefer them in silver anyway so would need to get them redone in a few months anyway..
