Hi Everyone
I've just take ownership of a 1985 528i E12
Great condition only 80000km on the clock 1 owner from new
has been sat in a garage for the last 10 years with 2 blankets on so in awesome condition.
I'm looking to fix it up put a tastefull set of wheels on, change the suspension and brakes, new exhaust and a bit of a sound system
so any help would be awesome, anyone in durban with an e12 or e28 would be awesome to meet up

That car is a magical find! The 1985 model is really special as it has all the refinements of the E28 and was only available in SA.

80 000km on the clock! Absolutely amazing! Check out these wheels - A-Line Scorpions can be easily found, if not the originals.

May she be well looked after! :praise:

Thanks Guys
The worst thing is I don't get to drive the car until the new year as I'm off to the uk tomorrow for a few weeks but when i get back got lots planned for the car
Prado I love those wheels defo interested do you know where i can get a set ?
apart from wheels I'm not going to modify it too much as i like the retro look
so this is my plans
wheels, suspension, brakes, powerflow exhaust, and upgrade the sound system

so if anyone knows where i can find suspension etc would be grateful for the info
Have to say i'm really looking forward to working on the car

Paid 35k for it maybe a little high but 1 owner from new and 80k on the clock had a full bmw service history too so was worth the little extra
looking at what else i can for that price this is a hell of a car

Those wheels are available from Autostyle. Also, search A-line wheels and they should have a contact number for your area. The set comes in narrows and wides and shouldn't cost more than R5000 a set.

All you will need to do is get a set of BMW stickers for the centre caps.

And, how about a front spoiler like this one? :fencelook:
