Hi all, from a big 330CI fan

Hi all
So I'm a huge BMW fan and I'm looking to get one in the next year or 2.

So far the short list is a 330CI or an E46 330i, manual, in white with the M Sport package. Rare, I know.

I have a friend who knows BMWs inside out and will help me with the purchase.

Struggling to find a good clean model out there that hasn't been driven to the ends of the earth with poor servicing.

I may also emigrate and buy a BMW in the UK as I hold dual citizenship but that would be a 330D on my shortlist as it makes more sense there to get a diesel.

Will keep posting on the forums as I'm sure there are experts here who could really assist me.

Welcome.
I too love the E46 Ci's, so much so that I've had three of them.
325Ci coupe 330Ci and 330Ci LCI convertible. The 330Ci was only available as a convertible in SA as far as I know.

I'm looking forward to doing my research and finding a good, well looked after 3 series.

My mate, Adrian, has owned many and has told me about their shortfalls.

I'd rather drive a passionate car with zest than a 1.4 Polo sh1tmobile.

I currently have a 1999 160i GLE Corolla which costs very little to maintain and would be my main car. It's not an amazing car but that's the point. Drive a regular car which you put the miles on and then have a luxury car for 2/7ths of the week.

One day I'll own an Alfa GTA. I want that V6 and absolute Italian raging beauty but I don't want to have it even as a side car right now.
