So I'm new here. I am just a poor law student with a love for most things German (Blood line). I have been obsessed with cars since the age of 7. I personally don't care about straight line performance, just track performance. I like hill climbing, Circuit and rally. I love Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Toyota, Subaru.

For obvious reasons I do not yet own a BMW, but hopefully in the next year or twp:hammerhead:

Current is a stock standard 2008 Opel Corsa D 1.4. It's fwd and has 66kw:blueCry:

I have driven quite a few higher performance cars such as an E92 M3, Supercharged 86, Subaru WRX STi, A45 AMG etc.

I have also helped build a few cars.

That's enough about me! very happy to be here :)

Welcome, I am sure you will have your BMW soon!

I really hope so. I have my eye on either an E90 330D or maybe a 335i.

Sorry the cell made a double post.

What BMW would be your first?

Well for fuel efficiency and tunability I will go E90 320D or 330D. If I find myself in a well(ish) paying job, maybe a 135i, I can live off of 2 minute noodles right?:=):

Get the 330d

I am planning on it. I do love I6 engines. The only problem I have is finding a manual is a struggle and the 6 speed auto doesn't have the same performance as the new 8 speed. Which I don't care about, because I really do want a manual.

The other option is buying an MR2 mk3 and possibly swapping in the busy 2.5 V6 or 2zz.

The manuals are out there. Saw one for sale last week somewhere. Keep a look out and the right one will come around.
