It's so short. That does cater for the smaller cars very well. Or rather a larger target market I'd imagine. Would make for some interesting runs, a whole lot of David's slaughtering Goliath's...

hey phoenix 300m, our cars will catch some hiding,800m and the game change.

Those 4 wheel drive turbo cars will decimate us on the 300 mark, after that, we catch and pass. But still fun in the end.

300m is to allow a safe event, braking distance ect. Track is by no means perfect, but Desmond is building a reputation for a well run/organised event. You 'drag-boys' are bound to enjoy the day.

Just to add, the same event type was held at Kyalami by the South Side Crew and the race distance was 328m... That was not an issue then, so it won't be one now :coolshake:
