Hard brake pedal

Hi guys. I have a 2013 M Sport 320d auto. I need some advice. Recently i found that while i am in traffic my brake pedal becomes rock hard. As soon as my engine starts its normal. But this issue only start recently. Wat can i look for to resolve this issue. Many Thanks Daniel Baijnath

Does it go hard immediately or only when you press the brake pedal a few times?

unfamiliar with these cars, F series ?

first things first would check the discs and pads for excessive wear, when my discs were kla and pads a bit worn on my 130i it felt the same (dead pedal)

sounds like you are losing pressure/vacuum in the system

Check your vacuum pump area for leaks, if you're lucky, just the seals will be gone, if not you'll have to replace the pump. (maybe a loose hose connector??)
