[H/A] Tyre Types

Hey

Ok so I have been looking around for Tyres and see a bunch of sites listing all the tyres

Only problem is my F30 uses Runflats and for the life of me not one single website lists Ranflats on their products. I think I saw it once on a Conti but then you have like 1 option

So I found this site www.tyrez.co.za and they have some good prices on the sizes I am looking at (BTW I don't need tyres now. I am doing future shopping to know how much to save up for when considering replacement) but every tyre listed has the spec and BGZTEBGGZ stuff in it and not one lists Runflat

Is there some list to see whats runflats or a easy way to identify them?

when you are "READY" to replace your RFT's give me a shout, and I will phone around at my suppliers.
we can get Pirelli and Yokohama direct from the warehouse, and we can get Bridgestone and Conti from a secondary supplier

Thanks Ralf

What price range are we looking at for 225/45R18 Runflats?
Need to get my tire fund going

I know some guys now offer tyre insurance, dunno if its through motorplan, or supplier, or tyre dealer, or manufacturer, but maybe worth trying to find out more. :dunno:

I am pretty sure BMW Insure (I am with them) has this option available, at just R20 pm extra on my monthly premium, but that was on non RF tyres. :thumb:

As far as I know its the Tyre manufacturer giving them . Firestone and Conti get them by default now if I'm not mistaken
