GT5 for PS3

engine tuning cant be undone
this afternoon we are having the gti cup race qualification runs
for the silver cup racing club

If you cant undo wight reduction and engine tuning why not just buy another one. Its cheap and with one race in one of the higher levels you would have the cash needed.

with weight reduction done you can add weight to get the car to normal spec and then move the weight around to improve handeling

So I had some time to myself today




Didn't have a stock one so bought a new one. Did the laptime on comfort tyres no traction control, or stability only set the abs to 1. Done with controller.

Nice Henry , you beat my time and my car had stage 3 Engine :biglol: , I should hit the game again . Hopefully tomorrow , I'll also buy a new 135i this time :bravo:

So Myself, Allen and Jeff are all avid players of GT5 using the G25 steering wheel with H pattern gears. 6 axis controllers are for ... Umm.. well you know.

Obviously racing around Nordschleife doing a timed run is fun because you can dial in from turn one without having to worry about other cars. You VS the track.
BUT... Eventually it gets a bit boring, so yesterday I was visiting Allen and he gave me a NEW challenge.

In arcade mode, go to the Nordschleife track and instead of a Free run or Drift session select RACE.
Then set the AI difficulty to Hardest,
TCS and ASM OFF
ABS on 1
and grip = REAL
But here's the kicker. Damage on FULL.
The M3 GTR - Road version - NO MODS. With Sports HARD tires.
After 3 proper attempts (please take note of the AI driven cars) at trying to get it right I came out with this:

I have been playing this game since number 1 on PS1 days. But When I say it is THE BEST race I have ever had in all my GT experiences, I am not lying. With one or 2 minor slip ups I still manage to win, but they were on my 6 down the LONG back straight and trying to pass.
