What's up Fanatics? It's been a long while since I've been on here. I considered posting this in the "New Members Introduction" thread.

After selling my 135 I stuck around for a time but eventually we drifted apart.

Now finally I'm back with a brand new ride😁 Somehow the stars aligned, and I managed to scoop this bad mofo

Thank you very much everyone!!

My plans for this machine are to finish driving the first 1000km on the road to have the "run-in" service done and all the restrictions lifted, currently I can't go above 9k RPM in any gear and it is also limited to 200km/h (haven't tested the speed limiter).

After all that the bike is getting stripped down to convert it into a track weapon. It's sad I know but I am of the opinion that one cannot fully enjoy a 1000cc superbike responsibly on public roads. Therefore I'd rather do it on the track where it is much safer to do so.

What do you guys think, should I document the process in a build thread?

Cant wait to get feedback after all restrictions are lifted shoulf be a monster

Sad to see a beautiful bike turned into a track weapon ,but i know u have great taste and no short cuts will be taken and it would be just as beautiful as the R1 ylu did!!

Please share the track build !!

Done! 1089Km and the run in service is done. Driving home I once again realised why these machines belong on the track and are not really meant for public roads. After just rolling on the throttle all the way through first gear, revving past 9000RPM for the first time and letting it go all the way up to the 14k RPM redline I was going fast enough to get a fine on any public road, including freeways. I'll reiterate, 1st gear only.

So with that thought in mind the beast has been washed and the track build can now start, link here.
