We are based in the Bellville area, just off Voortrekker Road, so it's very central.
At this stage, it's just Colin and myself working here. He fixes the cars, while I do the admin.
We work on the following system: we quote customers based on the car's VIN number. If the customer accepts the quote, we require the parts payment up front as a deposit to secure a booking. Based on this system, we are booked a week to 2 weeks in advance. (sometimes a bit longer, but we are in the process of looking at employing someone to help shorten the waiting period).
Colin qualified as a mechanic with distinction in 1998. He worked at a general workshop for about 8 years before moving across to a BMW dealership. There he worked for another +- 8 years, before we opened up shop in August 2011. At BMW, he worked his way through the technician statusses.
The highlight of this was when he was the Best BMW Group Certified Diagnostic Technician in 2008. This also secured him a spot as one of the Top 10 Technicians that year. And a year later, he reached BMW Group Certified Master Technician status.
But as he says: "you're only as good as your last job".
We specialize in the repairs of BMW's and Mini's. Our work environment is relaxed and we are on a first-name basis with our customers. If we can't help you (or are not willing to do certain work), we'll gladly refer customers to other workshops.
