Finally got GT7 in Dec... only played a bit in the holidays...

Love kicking my son's ass at normal racing, but he kick's my ass at the rally stuff... (go figure)...

Maybe it's just me, but without the steeringwheel set up and just using the normal controller... as nice as it is, it just feels like a lekker game to me... no more...

H - need to come check out this much talked about and revered Forza....

just got my copy of gt sport on ps4 , you cant tune the cars like previous versions :dunnoanymore:

sorta like a need for speed ps2 kinda tune ...

but the graphics are awesome ,still getting used to it tho ,and you gotta save online which im not sure if its a good thing or what i guess in time it will get better .

but i have to say forza on x box is alot more of a simulator than gt sport , im also looking at thrustmaster steering and pedals but they like between 16k -25k ..

Hahahaha I know that feeling of needing to play every day just to win cars.

the online feature has become a really awesome feature for my friends and I as we have now started racing against each other for times, to the point that it only started with 2 of us competing and now 4 other friends(who are not big gamers) have gone out and bought the game to join in on the competition.
Anything you do in the game can be compared to your friends times which get brought up on your screen, which is great.

How is the offline play on this game? worth it?

If you don't have Internet access it is utterly pointless buying most games.

Its very restricted in offline mode, you can just do some arcade stuff and licences :dunnoanymore:

All the other events/campaign are tracked online for fair play:thumbs:

I used to game online (when my stupid ADSL used to work) :hammerhead:

Online gaming doesnt use much data (I have mates that survive with 20gig monthly caps - used for Facebook/Instagram/some youtube and Online gaming)

The problem is the updates...which are frequent on PS4 - for example, Fortnite has an update every 5 days or so...download sizes vary from 500mbs to 1.5gigs at a time, and currently there is a 5.5gig update on Gt sport:hammerhead:

I will be changing over to Lte-A in the next month or so...Most likely a 100gig package:thumbs:

Fortnite updates are frequent because the game is still in its early access phase.

Updates on PC are muuuuch larger too :hammerhead:

I can always update my PS4 at work, so that is not a problem. Perks of being in IT :smilebounce:

Wanted to find out actual gaming. Considering your friend used 20GB for gaming amongst other things, I assume 20GB should be sufficient for frequent online gaming.

Thanks for the response bud.

Online gaming doesn't really use much data. Most of the processing is done server-side anyway.

The only real thing transmitted is probably X;Y coordinates and your keystrokes. Since you're on PS4 you'll probably send voice over the network as well if you use the mic but that's peanuts.
