Played with the transmission a bit.

Tip: Switch your ghost car on, helps you get a quicker time IMO.

A couple of questions:

-can we leave the 'academy edition' cars (2012 GT-R, Redbull etc) out of it? Not everyone has them.

-And then with regard to challenges, instead of saying what you can and cant do on a car, how about just setting a maximum limit on PP.

Example:

*Trial Mountain
*Bmw M5
*550PP max
*Choice of tires

That way the guys can run cars according to the rules, but built for their own personal driving style.

Hi Wes!

It's great that you should point this out. I haven't done updates, and downloaded DLC for GT5, so all those with the stock GT5 from the shops without PSN will not even have the option for the simple HP limiter, that's why i left it at parts modding. Also, we can exclude all the academy edition cars too. :thumbs:

I have the stock GT5 aswell. I agree with Wes on excluding the academy cars.

Maybe we should include both Time Trial and Drifting for the same car and track? Just an idea.

No driving line as stated in the challenge, I only drive MT on racing games, and standard issue dual shock PS3 controller.

No Traction control, no skid recovery, ABS set to 1, Soft racing tyres....

And excuse my typo, 53.180 it is....

Yup! Time Trial is what we're doing. Thought it would be nice to integrate a drift event with the same track/car since we have a week (more or less) to perfect our scores.

We could make the drift track/car separate so that we don't clash when one person wins the time trial and another the drift event.

So: Person that wins the time trial chooses the next parameters and person that wins the drift event chooses the next parameters respectively. If you win both then good on ya!
