Hello Fellow BMWFanatics,
An idea from Mohammed (CarCandy) evolved into a decision within the BMWFanatics Event Coordinators and as such, we present to an event collaborating two of many provinces.
This event, comprises of an approximate 800km (return) of driving and a night stay in a beautiful town centrally located to accommodate these 2 provinces. However, most importantly, it is the collaboration of fanatics, like minded people and families.
With this mammoth event, we need to let you know in advance so you can make the necessary arrangements for this spectacular weekend away.
KZN and GP, get ready for the BMWFanatics Weekend in Clarens
Herewith, are the details:
KZN and GP will leave there respective provinces from a defined meeting point at 8am. The route used will be the N3 Toll Road, we will gather at Engen 1 Stop Bergview for Lunch.
We will then depart together through to the Golden Gate Hotel near the town of Clarens. The route from the Engen to the Hotel is pothole free.
We will settle in and then take a tour through to the town of Clarens, find a secluded road with a mountainous backdrop for pictures and re-group at the hotel.
Each to their own, this is a family safe event. We are not running against time, there will be a lead car throughout the trip at speed limit. BMWFanatics is not liable for any speed fines or arrest made by local authorities.

Please take note of the rooms, some have a bath only. Please book accordingly. Each member to book there own, unless sharing with other members. Please arrange between each other. There are chalets available as well.
Food:
Please carry your own food items or purchase from the hotel restaurant. Please confirm availability with Hotel. Braai facilities are available for Chalet residents.

Fuel - R1000
Tolls - R300
Accomodation - R800 to R1000
Food - R500
These costs are to be controlled by each member, the club will not be collecting any payments.
