So as some of you may know, I had a bit of an accident with my M135i.

Over a month has past and I finally got my car back today
I was having withdrawals, so it was like christmas when I got to drive it again :)

Here is a before and after photo

And after

I am really happy with the way she turned out, and they got the paint matched perfectly.

The only thing that I was disappointed about was that they couldn't replace my blackline lights! So does anyone know where I can have the lights made darker or tinted in JHB? or do I have to pay a fortune again for the BMW blackline lights?

:ty:

Back and looking gorgeous again, if you want the Blackline look again then go for the 'tint' option of the laminex

Looking good, but I suspect it will be about 15wkw down on power with the missing Schnitzer sticker

Why couldn't they replace the blacklines? Sounds like a load of bs for them to save money. My insurance paid out happily for my blacklines. When I had a minor ding on the rear.

I agree, if the car had black line tail lights, they should replace them with black lines. They should return the vehicle in the same condition as before the accident.

Depends if it was specified to the insurance as an extra I'm sure?

Mine weren't. Insurance is meant to return you to the same position you were in before the accident.

Out of curiosity. OP who is your insurer?

I didn't specify the lights on my insurance policy, but they should have replaced them with the same black line lights that were on there.

I am with discovery, but I don't think it is discovery's fault, cause I think whoever the assessor was did not note that they were black line lights and he or she prob did not check. So thats why the normal ones were ordered. Strangely enough I just checked the invoice for the parts and the normal rear lights are more expensive then the black line ones :0

I did however make sure that they replaced the m performance exhaust with another m performance exhaust! :)
