So... Long story short is that my X5M50D was up for replacement. Mileage is at 124,000km on extended plan. And to extend for another year + 10,000km is a 50k job. So hunting I went....
I decided on another SUV, the practicality can't be beat when you have a kid, car seat.... luggage space and cabin space is important. I have an F80 M3 CP which I thought I'd use more but truth is , it's too small/compact, too low, too hard.
I needed something for the family but also a thrill to drive. This X6M came along with the spec I wanted....

Sidenote: looked at the new X5M50D and it was too much of the same at premium price that will depreciate fast in the next 2 years. Intact, tried buying one from BMW Umhlanga...wow, shockingly poor service from them, so I walked away. And I'm not even a tough customer. Cash deal, no trade in.
