A long story short version
In Aug last year less than a month and about 200km left on MP my F25 X3 gave me a steering stability control failure with a lot of extra failures. This biggest issue is to steer the car you need mussels like Arnold.
Booked the car in and two days later got the call the car is fixed, the normal conversation of what did they do bla bla followed and according to the maintenance manuals they cleaned plugs reset the computers and whala they were happy but not me. It sounded like an aeroplane snag that the fixed, spray electric cleaner on plugs and of you go for another few hours. I complained at tne MP ladies and the one made a comment on the cars record.
Two weeks ago start the car and again same failure, needless to say I was furious, service provider got long stories and I called the MP lady, she assured me she will do her best, it took BMW SA a week to decide they will honour the payment, big smiles on my side, then sorry no spares in SA ??? The biggest surprise was 48 hours from Germany to Club Motors and three days later a serviceable X3.
The invoice came to a stunning R29764.00
They replaced the electronic steering control and and and
I am smiling
I must say 5 months out of plan and 6500km.
