Good racing Games for PC?

Hey bud,

If you are into games that are more simulation then there is Assetto Corsa, and then Project Cars. Project cars was meant to be launched now in November but has been delayed to March next year. These games require you to have a wheel and pedal set though.

I myself am big into online competitive racing and Assetto Corsa and iRacing do this for me. iRacing is for hardcore sim racers, and isnt for everyone. It requires a membership to use the service as well which is not for everyone. But often you may come across some known celebs like Dale Earnhardt and Rubens Barichello racing around as well. It is by far the most realistic experience when it comes to sim racing.

I rate you should google the above mentioned games/sims and decide for yourself if that's what you more into.

If you aren't too fussed about realism and simulation and are happy to use the keyboard then the Need For Speed Shift series is good as well as the Grid series. A nice new one that just came out is a game called The Crew, basically gives you the entire North Americas to drive and race around in. Big open world it looks promising.

Otherwise google it bro. Best racing games 2014 and see what comes up ;)

^^ what Xeqtr_ said.

I dont know a more hardcore sim racer.

I have played all of the games listed above and i can agree that Asseto and iRacing are the most advanced.

Here are a few shots of Asseto Corsa.

Rfactor 2 is also pretty damn good. Has the best tyre physics I've ever seen or felt in a racing sim. Break to hard and lock up and you get bald spots in your tyres, which affect handling big time. Very cool. Assetto Corsa is beautiful and damn fun.

Same here, did the last two seasons still using GTR2.

Going to be getting back into it again, rather soon.

We raced end of last year, beginning of this year also with GTR2, when they switched to Assetto Corsa I left cause I felt Assetto Corsa was a piece of crap back then, and it was... its come a long way since and I want to get involved again as well.

We last raced about 4 months back i think.

When GTR2 was the main game.

I stopped because by the time im home form work and gym, i dont have time to eat or shower before the 1st quali starts.

Not sure if you were online when i pushed Xeqtr's GTR 3/4's of a lap to the finish cause he ran outta fuel. :biglol:

I finished 5th in the last season, driving the Jaaag for DMK Rennsport.

It was good fun. Hope Assetto is better now as you say, I didn't like the initial releases either.
