Right in your line of sight it seems, sucks bud !!

Its a bit off to the right and lower than line of sight but probably about 10cm across, doubt it can be repaired due to the size...will need a new windscreen.

"luckily" its only the screen!

Lols he might as well have, yeah "luckily"...would have caused some nasty damage to the body work....

I feel and know your pain. I've received a few "gifts" myself in the past.
The most memorable one was on the same day when I got my new Nissan 350Z a couple of years back. A stone hit the windscreen and resulted in a huge crack. I had to wait days to get a new windscreen (they were quite new and scarce at the time) and I did not feel like driving the brand new car with the busted windscreen. To boot, it was a mission to replace and the guys who did had never seen a 350Z before, let alone worked on one. They were constantly on the phone to find out what to do. I could not believe what had to be removed to get the windscreen off.

Better the windscreen than the paint though.

Guess it comes down to wrong place and time....
Thats the thing, these days windscreens have got lots of extra bits fitted to them just hope after replacement everything works as its supposed to...
