As per the title, is anyone familiar with the German Auto indi workshop in Pretoria-East (Elardus Park)?

I need to try a new indi workshop, having had less than satisfactory service from the other usual suspects in the east of Pta (FastServ Auto etc.)

I have to agree about Fast Serv, having had a few issues at the workshop in Dely road myself.
The new workshop located in Michael Brink street (Nico Smith street) at 29th avenue is actually good.

Good luck.

Thanks, but the Moot is too far out of the way for me.

At this point i prefer to travel further to get good work done.

I use A1exander in Sandton and i live in PTA east. You could consider others, but the distance will be more than you are travelling now.

Thought I should provide some feedback...

My wife's car was at German Auto twice now, once for fixing a minor oil leak which they did for minimal cost (R300 or so) and then recently for replacing the thermostat and radiator.

Both times, the car was ready when promised, freshly washed, no missing parts and with quite reasonable repair costs.

They have a nice, clean workshop with good facilities, friendly staff and although quite busy, they turned the work around very efficiently. They do work on all car brands, but I saw mostly BMW, Merc, VW/Audi cars there, which I suppose is their specialty. They are certainly very familiar with anything related to BMW and have all the necessary diagnostic tools.

I can certainly recommend them for fanatics who are looking for a good indy in Pretoria East.

Good to know, I drive past their workshop every morning, when dropping the kids at school....
