Gearbox Oil

So I dropped my cabby off at JSN this morning for some TLC and I asked them if they would replace the gearbox oil while she was in.

Apparently motorplan does not cover gearbox oil and it would have to be for my own expense at R1000 per litre :skit::smashScreen:

What do you guys think? Is it necessary? the gearbox is absolutely fine, I was just thinking about doing it as a precaution.

Yes they wont cover it, take the car to ZF them self.

Recommended to do oil change every 100 000km

ill call ZF and ask them, they send the car to ZF anyway.

If the autobox has done between 80-120k, ZF recommends a change of oil & filter.

The oil costs R185/liter at ZF and they use the correct OEM oil.
