Gearbox adaptor plate

Hi there

Does anyone have experience with these and know what they should cost. ART in Cape Town first told me R2500 to R3500. Then when I brought the boxes in he said its more complicated and wants R6500 excluding vat which is R7410. This includes the gearbox adaptor plate and a flywheel spacer. Also they will only give me a 6 month 10 000kms warranty. Which doesn't display much confidence in their product...

Is this a normal price and if not can someone recommend some one else with experience with this whom will be able to design and manufacture it.

Confirming whether I'll be doing it tomorrow. So advice asap will be much appreciated.

try moose engineering. robbi ferroli (ferolli performance center) used to use them... or still do ...

Believe an E90 6 Speed manual box on an M57 135kw :thinking:

E90 330d gearbox on e46 330d. The bellhousing is slightly bigger. I'm in Cape town btw.

Gave me incorrect diagnosis, then were simply impossible to get hold of them - I ended up having to drive out to them all the way from Durbanville just to ask them a few questions in order to proceed with the work. Granted, they were quite busy, but battling to speak to them with countless messages left for almost 2 weeks is inexcusable, and the receptionist at the time was also not the most friendly. Some have had good service, but I won't ever go back!
