It is only 2 months till Christmas and I'm sure lots of planning is involved. :idea:

I was thinking about this yesterday, just wanted finish exams and then start a thread next week.

I am interested in getting something going. Are we going to do something similar to the one that was held last year ??

Been involved in the last 3 would be nice for a change to just pitch up, so I will attend the event but will not be active in any of the arrangements. To, give the others a chance to see how many work go's into arranging events like this.

I actually prefer doing something for kids that is less fortunate around Christmas, animals we can always do. Some kids do not get to experience the gift of giving this time of the year.

This is an awesome idea, I also think of those in old age homes too who seemingly sit forgotten over the festive season... and I dont think we should limit our charitability, we can do it for all 3 causes, for example bring a toy (or one of those Santa Shoe Box gifts (make them appropriate for an elderly person or a kid) bring some dog food, bring some cash .... etc we then give these out accordingly.

From next year, maybe we incorporate a collection at every meet held so that come year end we have heaps to donate???

I like the idea of helping out the kids. Lately there has been lots in the news about kids being murdered, so i say Lets Help Out the Kids:excited::excited:
