What happened to Ocean Basket post?

Wouldnt consider it advertising as they are offering a 10% discount on anything purchased from them on the day of the event. A nice gesture if I may say so.

Might as well close and delete this and every other cars and coffee thread. I will no longer organise these events if the mods/admins/owner are being so petty.

its an event for the members of this here forum/club whereby a store that is situated at the venue is offering a discount. They not advertising in the for sale section prawns and line fish at a discount. Even if they do, I dont see any other advertiser selling sea food? A little bit of reasonable discretion is required.

I dont see any mods/admins/owners organising an event??

The rules regarding advertising has been laid down by the forum owner and we will be strict in applying them to the best of our ability.

At first i read the ocean basket offer, and immediately thought, well this is quite generous. Then i started thinking about all the other " generous" offers that might sudenly pop up.

Where do we draw the line?

So, before we get into another long winded argument that spans 15 pages, i understand what ocean basket had in mind, and like i said, initially i thought that was very generous from the gentleman, but it is advertising (even unintentionally) and unfortunately that is the end of it.
