Fuse for cigarette lighter on E90

I use my cigarette lighter as a charger and it has stopped working. I looked at the fuse chart in the glove box compartment, but it does not indicate which fuse is used for the cigarette lighter. Does anyone know which fuse I need to look at

You can pull out the actual chart, and it will show you the location of the blown fuse.

Exactly. I had the same issue as the OP with my E39. Was an easy fix to pull out the fuse diagram and locate the blown fuse. Must be similar on the E90

if you fuse box cover does not have the Fuse layout diagram on the inside you can either test 1 fuse at a time

The easier option would be to google the fuse layout on Google images just specify the model of your vehicle

Hi Ashie,

I've had this issue quite a number times on my car. The fuse number you're looking for is number 30, the 20 Amp fuse.

Changed mine last week. This is for most E90's. Bottom right location. Fuse costs R5 at autozone.
