I attended this youngster's funeral yesterday. He was only 25 and the accident wasn't his fault. Very sad.

Shame, I am assuming he died off the track? So young!

Yes. He was T-Boned by a 4 x 4 who ran a red light. The guy in the 4 x 4 died instantly, but Nicholas was in ICU for a week before passing away from his injuries.

He died a month before his 26 birthday and his father died two year earlier and consequently his mother now has to try and pay for the medical bills and funeral. Nicholas was between medical aids and therefore wasn't covered.

He was truly a outstanding young man and will be missed.

Our country is lacking compassion and I firmly believe that as Clubs we can bring that back. Because, a world without compassion is a cruel one.
