Fuel Consumption on the Z4 Roadsters?

Hi there

I have went through the Z4 threads and could not find any info.

Could you just give me an indication on what the consumption is (driving normal)

Because I am in the process to look for a decent Z4 2.5 or 3.0 between 2004 and 2008 for a daily drive.

Just want to get a few figures to work with as the insurance is good regards to a roadster.

My Z4 3.0si (with N52 motor) gives 10l/100km in normal city driving, and drops down to 7.5l/100km in open-road cruising mode.

I may be persuaded to sell my 2006 model if Splintheter will sell me his Z4 M :fencelook:

Definitely buy the 3.0 or 3.0si versions. The smaller engines will drink about the same amount of fuel, so its worth getting the 3L version with the most torque.

I must say that is actually not bad for the size of the engine.
I know its a lighter car than the norm but still actually very good consumption then.

Yes I would really prefer the 3.0 above the 2.5 just all depends on the price and mileage. I am not to concerned about the color itself.

PM me when you do, I might just be interested.

Hey,

So my 2008 Z4M Roadster gives me consistently now 12l/100 in daily city traffic. It is my daily commute.

Previously with a bit more stretch of highway involved in the driving I was getting around 10l/100.

And this is just normal driving, not too much held back, but not flooring it either.

I love it as my daily commute...

Enjoy!

I'm getting around 12.6 on my Z4M with a lot of stop and go traffic. daily commute is around 20kms one way of no freeway driving. Can't wait to take her on a drive down to the coast, so i can see it drop below 10.
