Hi Folks,

This is my final try before I hand the E65 over to the trade.

Again, details are as follow.

E65 730d 2005 model pre facelift
Euro style lighting (clears all round)
Saph black on black leather

Car has comfort doors (meaning it has auto soft closing doors, an remote controlled automatic trunk)

Car has comfort seats (Meaning that is has lumbar support, as well as adjustable bolsters, which means you can either use them as a big lounge suite, or turn them into sport seats. The seatback also adjusts in two places)

THe interior is virtually perfect, a few small blemishes on the outside paint. I am not going to say that this car is immaculate, because to me immaculate is just off of the factory floor, but its in VERY VERY good conditions.

Current KM's just hit 114 with full service from the agents, it also had a new turbo at about 93,000 (ish) and I know how to drive a turbo car, so you dont need to stress about it.

Car does need 2 perhaps 4 tyres, which are NON runflat.

I originally wanted about 220 for the car, but based on the lowball offers I have gotten from the trade, but 190 neg is not unheard of here.

Also, I am open to trade in offers on the right car, and willing to pay good money for a CLEAN (by my standards) E46 for my wife,

Give me 190k, and I'll go halfies with you on tyres...... I can also arrange finance for you.

Any takers..... ?

This just saddens me greatly, that it should be so hard to get such an awesome car as this sold. And that the value has dropped so much from new, thanks a lot BMW, yes this drop in value is mainly caused by the direct actions taken by BMW. I don't want to know what will happen to the value of next generation 7's and 5GT's in a couple of year's time.

Sorry about that :)

Back on the topic, I have been in this car, albeit only once, it is an awesome machine, hopefully there is someone out there that will be willing to take it off your hands, good luck with the sale.

What is the consumption you got again, LZ?
Also what is the insurance you can expect?
I got a bud in mind but don't hold your breath yet.

Consumption is 10L/100 regardless of how you drive it,

I am paying about R600 to insure the car for the full book value of 300k

netercol,

then trade me a nice E46 330d... I'll pay top dolla for a nice car, subtract that from the bill, and finance the rest. Sell me something worth 100k, finance the other 100 which will be virtually nothing. Im open to seriously creative deals here :)

Has8223, I'll get one again, I need to consolidate some debt, I got a "get car debt free" over the next 2 years plan.

Once I have done that, I will go loving for a 750iL Individual or a 550 E60 while keeping the E39.... I am just tired of my entire salary going on a joyride once a month, goes in, comes out....

Ok.....

My dealer had the 730d inspected at his mechanic, and it has a slight oil leak on the gearbox, that is it, thats all thats wrong with the car, everything else has been checked out.

The gearbox is leaking on the sump gasket, which means that I will be replacing the gearbox filter and fresh oil with Dennis at gearbox Den on monday. Its the ZF 6HP26Z box.

GIve me 180k for this car, before monday (I will do the gearbox repair with invoices) and you are going to be buying the bargain of the century.

Perfect car, turbo replaced, fresh oil in the gearbox with new filter, indestructable motor, very decent body work.....

She will be sold on monday, I would rather this car go to a fanatic at that price then be sold on to some stranger for 240k cause thats exactly whats going to happen...

Finance can be arranged...

Going.... Going......

But you can, I have seen e65 745i's go for less than e46 330 individuals......

in that sense yes but maintenance? what would I be looking at?

@Leonard is this car still for sale?
