Congrats to the guys :praise:
They've always been on top. Picked up some oil from them yesterday - nothing but the best service, all the time!

Yes, bought my car there last year and had some niggles sorted out earlier this year at SMG. Always a pleasant experience dealing with them. Very friendly, professional and efficient.

i also only have had good service from them, despite the fact that i've never been there.

i always phone for parts, than make a EFT and arrange a courier to pick it up. fabian at parts even gave me a 15% discount on my CCV in december.

Well, good for them. Hopefully this will motivate them to go from strength to strength to improve where they can. Didn't have such a great experience with them as I was hoping for, but they eventually sorted out their faux pas - shouldn't have happened and I am still stuck with scratched wheels from their workmanship...

Basically I went specifically to them because of the general good reputation they have, so hopefully they learn from this and treat people's property with a lot more care!

Philip, not defending them at all but I think it was a matter of bad timing.

They had just lost a much loved colleague and that affects the way people work and do things. I suspect the workshop had other things on their mind.

Not excusing what happened but I am relieved that they did solve the issues caused.

I do suspect that I was just unlucky timing-wise, was just a bit disappointed when they tried to downplay the damage initially. Actually, Juergen apparently worked on my car earlier that week. So yes, very sad indeed! At least that's what the workshop foreman told me. Very sad and tragic loss!

At the end of the day, they were friendly and willing to sort out the problems as requested.
