All I'm going to say about this car and track is the only time you touch 2nd gear is on the first corner. 3rd, 3rd, 3rd!

The only aid I use is braking lines. I use them as brake markers, not really racing line guides.

Must try that, I do the 1st corner in 3rd too.
And of course 4th on the straight, almost 5th depending on the run you get onto the main straight.

Are you using any driver aids like driving line traction control...?

The only thing I have on, and not always, is braking line.

You have to be smooth about it though. 2nd gear in this car makes it oversteer and very sensitive to throttle. You can use 3rd, but I found it would bog and lose one or two tenths. You can mash 4th all the way down the straight.

Try get used to playing without ABS. The point at which ABS kicks in on most cars is way before what they're capable of in this game, I find it increases braking distance quite a bit. It'll take a while to get used to, but it's very rewarding! You'll eventually find that there's lots of room for error with the controller when it comes to full on braking without locking up, instead of having a fake ceiling with ABS.

I am also now running with all assists off, well all but braking line… I have to master this technique if I stand any chance of choosing a challenge in future….. :bangdesk:

Maybe I need new glasses. :fencelook:

Managed to do a few laps with the braking line on and got my time down by one second on my fist clean lap. The braking line really does help a lot but to tell you the truth it does take away the realism feel for me. I mean if you do go onto a track there's no magical lines going to appear to tell you when to brake , if you miss your brake point you are so going to meet your new friend Mr. barrier :roflol:

Again, awesome times guys :bravo: :bravo:

That DB5 is actually unfreakingdriveable to be honest, just cannot get the power down in it. I even converted it to all wheel drive and that STILL didn't help.
